Case Study: See How We Launched a New Company in Four Months
Imagine you have worked on a new technology for ten long years and you finally get your patent to go to market. Now imagine the biggest trade show for your industry is only four months away and you have to create a new company and brand from scratch. Sounds pretty challenging right? Not for the WaddyFletch team!
In September of 2019, we were engaged by Chinese textile manufacturer Best Pacific to launch two new companies and brands in preparation for the Outdoor Retailer Show in January 2020. We had to create a parent company and a product brand. Our marching orders included everything you can imagine, including a logo, business cards, brand images, brand story, elevator pitch, website, sales video, printed brochures, garment hang tags, and a 20 x 20 trade show booth!
Here are some examples of what we created.
Logo Design
Best Pacific has invented a revolutionary new dry wick fabric (similar to Nike’s Dry-FIT – but better) that we called TurboDry. The simple concept is that because of the angle of the fabric, TurboDry Technology can remove moisture and sweat away from the body faster and more effectively than any dry wick fabric on the market.
Our mission was to convey this concept of pulling moisture away in the new logo. As you can see, the middle of the T in TurboDry is designed to mimic water.
Brand Story Development
Creating a compelling brand story is the most effective way to capture people’s attention and get them engaged in caring about your brand. A brand story typically recounts a series of events that sparked your company’s inception and conveys how and why your products and services help customers and serve a higher purpose.
We crafted a compelling brand story for TurboDry to engage potential new brand partners (manufacturers) and customers and to position TurboDry Technology as the new, innovative leader in the dry wicking textile industry.
